I know, it sounds more like a type of grapefruit than a programming language, but Ruby is quickly becoming a widely used language for creating webapps very quickly due to the invention of "Rails"...a framework that makes building an app quite easy.

I've been tinkering with Ruby and am disappointed that I'm not going to have much use for it anytime soon. But I'm going to continue tinkering and maybe some good will come of it. With all of this came a nice collection of links that I'm going to aggregate here so I can find them later (and so they won't clutter my firefox tab bar).

No, this isn't about Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz. It's about Ruby...a neat little programming language that is quickly becoming noticed in the world (especially because of projects like Ruby on Rails that is making things easier to use). I heard about Ruby way back when a coding-guru colleague of mine came to me and told me about it. I didn't do anything to learn it back then, but it's getting more interesting now and maybe I'll have a look. In that vein, here's a nice little guide to the little red slippers.
