Classic Michael Jackson is much better than this crap. Some Japanese gamers with a LOT of time on their hands think so too and use some of MJ's classic moves in an odd and fabulous (and fabulously odd) mash up with classic video games. Link.
And in other Michael Jackson news, is he really so innocent? I mean, I know the family that sued him is sleazy, but if they didn't have such a checkered past, he'd be up the creek by now. Oh well, at least I'm not the only one swimming in debt.

Sent in by my sister Tammy, a hamster powered car that was not only thought of, but implemented in the Toyota Idea Olympics. I'm all for renewable and clean energy transportation, but this is getting out of hand (plus, think of the PETA implications...they'll probably put treadmills in front of Toytoa headquarters to protest). Anyway, just click it and see other interesting (if not zany) alterna-transport-evil-genius ideas.
Ahhh...Japanese Street Fashion. One of my favorite subjects. I'm not exactly sure what the f@#$ my obsession with this stuff is, but I do know that I enjoy looking at the variou things that these folks come up with. I've contemplated getting the Fruits book by Phaidon, but haven't made the leap yet. One reason is that the things keep changing and that books are quickly outdated (especially those books that chronicle culture or computer books) by the Internet's lighting pace and vastness. Another reason is the format...the book is a little small for me and the pages feel like they'll fall out (especially if you open the book wide). Maybe someday. Until then, MasaManiA chronicles some street fashions in Japan...too bad some images are red x'd...sigh.

I love Phaidon books...They're too expensive though. This is one of my favorites since it shows the lengths that Japanese teenagers will go through to get noticed. I think this is an interesting phenomenon that shows how individuality is not just a basic freedom, but an inherit part of human nature.
