Looks like A9 is throwing in the towel. I am was a big fan of the toolbar because of a few cool things:

Toolbar worked between mozilla and IE -- why is this cool? Your bookmarks travel between both browsers and on multiple machines with zero effort.

1.57% back on amazon purchases -- every little penny helps. I'm sad this is going away, but I'm certainly not going to stop shopping at Amazon.

Windows Live Search backed -- this is still true, but I'm not going to use A9 much anymore because the other two are gone now...

Well back to the drawing board for a cross browser bookmarking solution.

Those of you who frequent this little corner of mine know that I'm an Amazon link whore. Yeah I get a buck off of each sale that comes through here, but I am a whole hearted believer in Amazon as a great way to shop and an amazing timesaver. That being said, I jumped at the chance to check out Amazon's new ashop for associates. The neat part is that it slides right into my site's look and feel with minum fuss. Amazon is giving away $30 gift card for anyone who buys $80 worth of Pampers...not bad if you've got a baby.

Just search for your state and find some good (and cheap) eats. Most certificates have a value of $25, but cost only $10! Plus you get the certificate by email so you can get the grub asap.
