* Robo-telemarketers and how to "get off the list" *

Apparently, pressing "2" will remove you from some robo-telemarketing calls according to one guy I spoke to after I pressed "1" to try and get off the list.

Pass it on (and maybe try pressing other things too to see if that works...if not, let's do like upstanding Americans do and sue telemarketers to hell and back again. God bless America.)

Why'll you're at it, why don't you go to the government's Do Not Call Registry and sign up your phone numbers to get off lists and start suing. Since they send an email verification to make sure you have registered, I'm thinking about writing a bot that will sign up for email accounts, look up all of the phone numbers in the US and sign every single last phone number up for the do not call registry....not a bad idea I would think.
