So, I'm all fired up to try Parallels Desktop for Mac, but my Windows XP disc committed suicide when it found out it would be thrown into the bowels of a (gasp!) Mac. No worries, I grabbed an ISO from a buddy of mine and began the install.
This all happened last night and installer was STILL going this morning. Why was it so slow? Did I really want to dig through Parallel's forum to figure it out? No...so I let it go. I figure it should be ready to go by the time I get home. I have the feeling some obscure setting is not flipped correctly. Or the fact that I'm doing it from an ISO rather than physical media...at any rate, I'm stumped at the moment and frankly don't have time to deal with it.
