We had a scare this past week with my dad. He's not in so good of shape. His heart isn't faring too well and his lungs get flooded with liquid if he eats salty junk food like he has been. At least he's better now.
On a sort-of related note, I saw my old buddy Tony yesterday and he's lost a LOT of weight since september. His secret? Six week body makeover. He explains it as: 5 meals a day consisting of George Foreman-grilling some costco chicken breast and half a potato with some pam spray. No salt and no fat. Ouch. He's been doing it for about 6 months and the results are undeniable. I think I can handle it but I'm going to need hot sauce and sushi with very little sodium.
