* Chinese Market Madness *

There are several things that you learn from living in Silicon Valley. One is that you NEVER go to the Chinese markets when Chinese people go to the Chinese markets. This is usually anytime during the weekends (especially mid day Saturday or Sunday afternoon). The reason is that there are so many Chinese people here and they all seem to have similar schedules so a large number of them show up at the market at the same time. Well, we violated that rule this past weekend. While it's not really THAT bad, it's not what you'd expect from going to Safeway or Whole Foods. The upside is that there are usually some good deals during this time. We got a sweet Zojirushi water boiler and hot pot to go along with our Zojirushi rice cooker. The water boiler was the big 5 liter model with a 7 hour timer. The nice thing is that it has a dispense button so you don't need to pump it. It also has a nice water level meter so you know exactly how much hot H2O you have left. The hot plate
