We're trying to figure out the best time for Hongyun's parents to visit and it seems that if they are here for 183 days next year, then they are considered "US residents" and can be deducted as dependents on our tax return since we're going to be covering their living expenses here. So we're debating whether to have them come over this December or wait until March 1st (so they'll have a full 183 days). If they do this each year, we'll be able to pay for their airplane tickets and have a little spending cash to show them around here. Sweet!
