I just discovered the coolest ever printer...ever. In the whole history of things that put ink of paper. It's called the Epson R1800. It has 8 individual ink tanks and its prints are better than those you get from photo labs (or so the Amazon reviewers say). I'm going to lean towards believing them as they seem to have much more photographic experience than I do. Anyway, I discovered this printer after trying to figure out whether to buy a new ink cartridge from my old HP 920 or go with something more updated for photo printing. In the end I opted for the HP's cartridge since the thing still works, but I've never gotten a decent photo print from it (at least nothing like those I can get from the R1800). Ahhh...oh well. My photographic dreams will have to stay on hold. The old HP 920 gets a stay of execution until this new color cartridge runs out.
