I'm in the process of debugging my Nikon 5200 that I've been using for about a year now. While in Maui, we took a ton of photos. My sister used her Olympus digicam and I used my Nikon. The funny thing is her photos turned out a bit sharper than mine. The colors also seemed to pop quite a bit more. Which leads me to the quest to figure out what's wrong with my Nikon (or maybe I just need a new camera?). Along the way, I found this little gem: Camera Hacker. This is a very neat site that has all sort of cool projects and tools for making your camera (digital or analog) cooler, more useful, and more fun. It even has tutorials for turning one time use cameras into not-so-one-time-use. Give it a whirl...you'll like it.
