Ahhh...Japanese Street Fashion. One of my favorite subjects. I'm not exactly sure what the f@#$ my obsession with this stuff is, but I do know that I enjoy looking at the variou things that these folks come up with. I've contemplated getting the Fruits book by Phaidon, but haven't made the leap yet. One reason is that the things keep changing and that books are quickly outdated (especially those books that chronicle culture or computer books) by the Internet's lighting pace and vastness. Another reason is the format...the book is a little small for me and the pages feel like they'll fall out (especially if you open the book wide). Maybe someday. Until then, MasaManiA chronicles some street fashions in Japan...too bad some images are red x'd...sigh.
