Basically it works like this: it allows you to buy songs from iTMS without DRM (since the DRM is added client side due to client dependencies, their client simple neglects to add the DRM). It also allows redownloading of songs (not sure how they manage this, but I bet it's caching some "ok I paid" cookie or something that is sent to the iTMS to release the song for download. Anyway, it's neat to see this sort of work done to ixnay on the RMDay...
RIAA's going to have fun with this one I bet. Just goes to show you that there is always a way around it. Always.
