This past week, Ginger and I volunteered at the Tapestry Arts Festival in downtown San Jose. Helping kids learn how to complete a little project was quite rewarding. To you and me, 
water shakers look like a little bit of coloring in a water bottle with confettii on the inside and markers on the outside, but for kids, watershakers would make their eyes light up (especially when you dropped the color into the water bottle).
This past evening, Ginger was with her friend at KTEH (the local public television station) helping answer phones for their fundraising auction. They had a lot of fun with helping folks bid on great vacations and helping PBS.
