Blowed Up :: home :: J.Lo, you're wife next?
Tonight begins "Blowout", a new reality series that is sandwiched by two episodes of Queer Eye and it was pretty good. Jonathan (the main "character" of Blowout) is trying to setup a new salon in the Hills of Beverly. Apparently, he is some sort of hair guru that "interviews" his stylists by "watching their hands." I dunno, I'm not much of a hair person so I guess it's what you do. Anyway, before the show started, Ginger was discussing how she is looking for an new hairstyle as her current hair length is becoming hard to manage. She says she always has trouble picking a hair style and the places we go to don't exactly help. Usually, it's like "you want it short or long?" For me, that works. For Ginger, it really doesn't. So now I find this: Splendora - The Authority On Excellence
Apparently this site lists the best places to get your hair to have a really good day. We'll either find some Splendora up here or head down to Beverly Hills for a visit to Jonathan's chop shop.

i hate that guy jonathan , he is the dumbest asshole I have seen that has actually made money. a true retard. I saw him threaten all middle easterns while he was getting fake-interviewed on ali-g and he is a true nutjob racist who thinks on top of being a bad haridresser he is also a badass commando. well jonothan, you're not! you just simply suck.

i loved the blowout marathon last night. the haircut/makeover Jonathan did on his old classmate was "WOW" She looked like a whole new person. The ability to recreate a person to bring out the best version of themselves really makes me urge to have the same unique talent.

Jonathan,
You're nuts. It's a good thing you own your own business because you would not last 2 seconds in a corporation. And BTW, in 6 months you'll be the only one in your business cuz all your employees will have quit. Unless you turn over a new leaf quick and treat people with respect.

as a hairstylist i would never ever work for a man like johnathan, he's an asshole that despite being in the industry for 20 years isn't as great as he thinks he is.

Loved the show and especially the cut that hairstylist Jason Low did last night. A really cute short style. What was that? A short shag, angled bob? I would like to try to explain the style to my hairstylist. I live in Florida.
Thanks for the help.

I love your show! I am sure you get that all the time, but I am not a big fan of reality TV shows...you changed my mind on that. I even got my manager hooked on your show. He oberves your "style." I often see him trying to copy your look, and he even uses his speaker phone!!!

I was wondering if Jonathan was hiring any hair stylists for his salon? I am a small town single mom Joelton, Tennessee) and I have been a hair stylist for about four years and I would love the chance to learn from him and have his guidance.
