Some of you may know that I've been working out daily as part of an work-subsidized obesiety management program. The program is quite rigorous with 5 workouts/week with nutritional, medical, and psychological consultations. I've been poked, prodded, run through the wringer more times in the last month than I care to remember. Is it working? Absolutely.

I find myself at the same weight as when I started about a month ago, but I definitely have more muscles than before. My wife notices it immediately. I even notice the size of my biceps while are not Arnold-sized, are getting noticably bigger. What's the point? Well, the point it to lose weight gradually and create a healthy lifestyle that is maintainable. I notice that my diet is changing gradually as well. I even threw food away the other day (which is as rare as Venus colliding with Mercury). Part of the reason because it was icky (Cinco de Mayo tacos at the work cafeteria...ewww) and part of it is because I recognized I was full and should stop. I look at it as a big first step.

So where's all this going? Hopefully, a muscular and slim me with lots of "massals" as Arnold likes to call them.
