If you're a low carb dieter or a diabetic, Jamba Juice is not your cup of ...er juice. Each regular sized Jamba Juice has something on the order of 100g carbs. I think I found a way to have your a smoothie treat with much lower carbs:
Tommy & Ginger's Low Carb Fruit Smootie
Makes 4x8oz servings (or 2x16oz servings if you want to pig out)
8 Frozen Strawberries (15g net carbs)
1 cup unsweetened soy milk (4g net carbs)
1 banana (15g carbs, +/- to your taste)
1 cup Breyers no sugar added lite Vanilla ice cream (4g net carbs)
1 TBsp lemon or lime juice (nomimal carb impact)
Blend all and serve immediately.
If I did the math correctly, an 8oz serving comes out to be 9.5g net carbs and very little fat. If you make one the same size as a Jamba Juice (24Enjoy!
