What a great company party. This year's company party for the Bay Area folks blew away last year's party! The venue this year was the Asian Art Museum in SF. I decided to surprise Ginger with a stay at The Hotel Adagio so we could spend the afternoon before the party shopping and getting ready. We decided to dress up and take photos of Ginger's dress (which we decided to return to Nordstroms) in lieu of the fact that we won't have time to change into western style clothes during the wedding reception. Anyway, the hotel got snaps for modern, clean design and location. The Asian Art Museum was great! The exhibits themselves were pretty amazing, but the sweetest part was the music. There were two DJs and a couple of guys on all manner of bongos and an Indian guy rambling into the microphone. They were playing breakbeats on the turntables while the two guys went nuts on the bongos and the other guy was just zoning out and saying whatever. Weird as it may sound, it was awesome. They also had two giant screens just playing crazy patterns and colors. In the end, the effect was awesome...the giant room in the museum filled with lights and sound...fun!
