If you live in California and have to pay for auto registration after October of this year, be sure to get your Car Tax Refund. Just follow the instructions and send the form along with your DMV payment. Here's a link to the form in case the link is broken: Form 399.

Filling this in does not guarantee that you will get a refund, but if it is decided that the tripling of the car tax was bogus, you'll be one of the first in line to get your money back from the DMV. Woohoo!

I paid vehicle registration for three vehicles due
December 8, 22, 31, 2003. Will I be getting a refund since I paid the high rate?
