Planes and Trains :: home :: Make a Flake
Neal Pollack wrote a great piece about all of the people who blog about the war and even write poems about the upcoming bomb-fest. Thank you for expressing everything I've been thinking in the back of my head about these people who feel the need to express themselves about the "war".
It's really funny to think that our lives in America will practically be unchanged when the war begins and those people who are feeling the wrath of the American military machine will be running for their lives as their cities and lives are destroyed. What kills me is those people who are "deeply affected" by the war and have a need to write crappy poetry. Oh c'mon...
In the end, we'll all pay a little bit more for gas and the presidential cronies will be a just a little bit richer...all under the guise of "protecting America".
