The Rose Garden Aprime Resort

The Rose Garden Aprime is the venue for our Thailand wedding bash. The place looks spectacular and I've heard is top notch as far as service, facilities, food, fun, relaxation, etc. goes. It's a little out of the way so we may stay there a couple nights. Pack light!

I resized and posted the photos from an info CD about the Rose Garden that my mom sent me.

Here are some great books about Thailand:

The Eyewitness Travel Guide to Thailand is not that great of a travel guide, but is big on bright photos and great layout. The venerable Lonely Planet Thailand is difficult to top with useful information and great tidbits about almost every corner in Thailand. Don't forget the Lonely Planet Thai Phrasebook. I used the Lonely Planet Mandarin Phrasebook my first couple of times to China and it was indispensible. If you'd like more interesting reading, try Travelers' Tales Thailand: True Stories. It's full of great stories and good information about Thailand. And never forget your Groovy Map Bangkok by Night and Groovy Map Bangkok by Day. These two are great pocket guides to getting around town. Great nightlife listings and things to do that most other guide books don't have or make you dig through hundreds of pages to find.
