Can't Sleep...Clown Will Eat Me :: home :: Santa's Hummer
Tommy's Interesting Book of the Day:

My Dad saw this on CNN and wanted to check it out. Have you ever watched MTV, BET, or even VH1 and wondered, "what the hell are they talking about?" in that rap video? Well, here is a tool that will help with your lack of ghetto time and bling-bling rhyme...git up in the A-T-L and remember I ain't yo baby daddy.

enRoute, the in-flight magazine for Air Canada, will be including a short text about hip-hoptionary in the JetSet section of the May issue. For this, we will need photos to accompany the text. We would like to know if there are some slides, prints, photos CDs, or even high-resolution files by e-mail (300dpi, 4x5 inches image size in jpeg, tiff, eps or psd format) you could send us of hip-hoptionary 's product (cover and inside exemple).
Please include any caption information and photo credits with all images.
This is free advertising and all materials loaned to us will be returned with a copy of the magazine during the month of its publication. enRoute has an estimated readership of 500 000 and a monthly circulation of 200 000 copies.
We unfortunately have a tight deadline, and would need to hear from you as soon as possible, letting us know whether or not you would be interested in having us include your visuals along with our article. If you should happen to send us anything before talking to us, and you send it by international courier, please mark "no commercial value" so there won't be any delays at customs.
Many thanks for your interest, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely,
Kim Bélanger

My name is Dwight. I am 25. I started a book when I was 21 and finished it last year. I've been through many publishing avenues but I get a lot of the "unsolicited" rejection letters.
Anyway, I have a book similar to yours, but what you've done is only one part of the 7 in my book. The glossary, or slangtionary as I call it, is 1000 words and is specific to a particular theme that is relevant to the rest of the manuscript.
Having that said, I'm sending you this email because if you like it, and could get it published, I would split the profits 50/50 with you.
I can write (screenplays, teleplays, etc.) but this was a passionate project about some things that the media try to reach but have no success in doing so because of the nature of the biz.
The manuscript is titled HER HIDDEN SCAR. America is a beautiful woman to the rest of the world but she has an ugly scar beneath her gown....
If you're interested, get back at me.
