does anyone know the song to the Hummer commercial, where the hummer is driving through the desert and the music is like a spooky techno. I could not find it on the hummer website.
I'm trying to figure out a song that was in a Hummer commercial a few years back (at least). It was an H2 commercial I believe, and it featured a woman driving down a street (I can't remember very well, but it might have been an urban environment). There's a very chirpy, growly techno song playing. Does anyone know what song this is?
I want 2 know what the song playing during the hummer commercial when it shows a upside down view of a "prarrie looking landscape" and then it flips and u see the hummer driving. and it shows the people inside driving it in slow motion and it pauses and the camera swings in mid-air to the drivers side and then the hummer starts moving agian. Thx -David
For all those who feel that the Hummer commercial is bad marketing, they have sure had you talking about their commercials and products for what looks like going on 4 years now. Sounds like good marketing to me.
The two newest Hummer commercials feature pussies. The man in the supermarket line who sees the other guy buying lots of meat while he buys that tofu shit or whatever it is...then gets the balls to go out and buy a Hummer so he can feel like a man. And the woman who gets powned at the playground by a stronger bitchier woman decides she'll buy a Hummer so she can feel like a real strong woman. Two fucking stupid commercials! They say, "I'm not good enough in my life but if I get one of those damned Hummers, I can be somebody!" (pukes)
I want to know who sings the song that includes the lyrics "this little girl's gonna rock" for the Hummer ad being shown currently. Can you help? Thanks!
The song in the "Accessorize" commercial is called "Seventeen Years" by Ratatat. I haven't been able to find it in any stores yet. But Hummer lists the songs they use in their ads. Enter the hummer.com site, click on FAQs, scroll down to who sings the song in Hummer ads? Here's the band's site also: http://www.ratatatmusic.com.
ok we all know now that song in that commercial is "happy jack" by the Who. but thats not The Who singing in the hummer ad. who is the band doing that version of the song
First, the Jack commercial is very appropriate and truthful. There is some misfit kid that nobody wants to be friends with, because he's a dork. So, in order to try to get their "approval", he spends a shitload of money (compared to the other kids, did you see all the wood, tires, and metal he bought) on a "car". I think that is kinda like most owners of hummers, big dorks with too much money trying to get one up on the joneses. sad really.
Second, the main reason I hate them, its not the environment or jealousy. Its because I can't see around the fucking hugeness when driving on the freeway. Is there traffic in front of him? Don't know! Are we about to have a pile-up? Don't know! Can I see way down the road and halfway enjoy the drive on a trip? Hell no! I never understood what someone got out of keying cars, but I wish a war was waged on ALL SUV owners, cut them off, don't let them merge, get in front of them and drive slow, stuff like that.
Can someone please tell me what the NEW song off the hummer commercial is. It kinda sounds like Autechre and or Kraftwerk. It's not the Fc Kahuna song! Thanks

Thanks Elezabeth!! I found the tune I was looking for.
I think that these Hummer commercials are the best commercials I have ever seen. I abslutly love how at the end they all zoom out of our atmosphere and remind us of how special our world is and all the life it holds.
Ya, it would be nice some day for Hummer like vehacles to run on a very powerful clean fusion engine, but for now, It's Kick Ass!!
Unless you want the ultimate...The Mercedes G55 AMG!
The techno tune on the Hummer (if you mean the one that has a robotic voice saying "this- is going- to make you...") is called "Freak". It's by British electronica boys LFO (Low Frequency Oscillation, they took the name LFO before the boy-band did). They've been making music like this on the Warp record label for over a decade, and this tune is off their 2003 CD "Stealth". It's very counter-culture ("Designers Republic" designed artwork on their records and so on) so I was surprised to hear it on a Hummer commercial.
What the fuck?! Doesn't Hummer know how the story goes? When Jack comes down from the hill he's supposed to fall down and break his crown (aka, roll that piece of shit wooden tank and snap his neck), along with that bitch Jill who helps him out by giving him a steering wheel along with a real "hummer" (not the car) if he wins the big race. She's supposed to fall down the hill as well. And am I the only one who notices that he is in dead last and then out of nowhere is suddenly ahead of everyone on the last bend? Oh well. All I know is that if you have an H2, you should have an H1, and if you have an H1, then your money would be better spent getting a breast/dick enlargement instead. At least that way you bitches wouldn't drive 55 in the left lane of the interstate and cause traffic jams.
I'm sure I'm going to offend a lot of people by saying this, but some of you that have posted on this board really need to chill out. Don't get so worked up over a commercial... let alone a vehicle that it's advertising. I would hope that you have other things that are way more important going on your life... stress out about those issues instead.
the techno song is Emerge by fischerspooner. They play the shortened remixed version of it called snow. You will probably find it as sleigh on some sites.
I can see why most of the hateful fuck wits on this board don't like the commercial. They are the ones that get in everyone's way in the left lanes, drive slow, talk pointless conversations on their cell phones to pretentious drooling troglodytes, and leaving their turn signals on for miles and miles.
1: S*UT THE FUCK UP AND DRIVE THE GODDAMNED CAR!
2: GET THE FUCK OUT OF OUR LANES YA MOUTH BREATHING ASSHOLES!
3: OH, AND FOR THE DIRTY FOOTED HIPPY TREE
HUGGING COCK SUCKERS , GET A JOB AND MAKE SOME MONEY AND STOP TELLING "US USEFUL MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY" WHAT TO DO WITH OUR MONEY!
Other than that, I like the commercial, I'm going to build one and put a 1962 burnt ring Brigs & Stratton motor on it that backfires like a Harley and belches smoke! Just to piss off green peace!
go to hummer.com, then enter 'hummer world' which you will find on the top left corner of the page...choose tv commercials...you can view each commercial and see the music info
Fuck every body, one guy says something and nobody answers, seems as if you all want to say something to be heard. Zero asked what is the techno song of the last comercial. That is also my question, does any body know what is the name of this song? Not the happy Jack crap.... the techno song!!!
Regards
You people are morons. There is nothing wrong with those H2 commercials. Don't hate because you can't afford one. Who said something about rolling over? Please, you are an idiot who clearly didn't do his homework before making that jack-ass comment. Hummers are great vehicles and fuck you if you don't think so. Morons.
Brilliant? The Jack commercial for the Hummer SUV is one of the dumbest pieces of marketing drivel I have ever witnessed. The so called "determination" of the young boy reflects much of the same stupid and superficial values which would cause a grown man to buy one of those gas guzzling, view obstructing menaces to society. And that little boy - what is he? Nothing more than a simple cheat - learning his first lessons at rude and offensive driving.

"I hate the commercial. I would like to shoot an RPG at the stupid little kid before he crosses the line!! THAT MUSIC MAKES ME SO ANGRY!!!"
Ditto.
"Note that the kid is sitting two feet higher off the ground in the "soap box" Hummer, which illustrates the critical issue: The Hummer's higher center of gravity is likely to be quite dangerous and lead to a roll over."
Finally somebody else noticed that. I kept imagining that f*cker rolling over like 20 times down the hill.
What really bothers me is that blonde bimbo Hummer ad (aka the "mmm mmm mmm" ad) with the chick driving through a metropolitan city in an H2. Guarantee that stupid bitch is never going to take that thing offroad. :P
I keep the icon on my desktop. When ever I need cheering up, I double click it. Sounds like it could have been a MB commercial. Sounds german to me, but who cares
The song is done by Tom Jones, but I can't remember the exact title.
Forget Regis! Who is that very hot brunette in the drivers seat??!!! OOWWWWWWOOOOOHHHOOHHHHH!!! She is SMOKIN! Anyone know who the babe is in the drivers seat of the silver Hummer that "just loves off-roading" on the deck of the yacht with Regis?
I would also like to know the name of the song from the NFL commercial; "its good to be rich". I have been trying ot figure it out and its driving me mad! thanks
hi
I was wandering how to build a soap box hummer and i whant it to fit me in it and im 13 so i was wanderind if you know somehow to build one or know somone who does thank.
I would like to download the "happy jack" music from the "hummer" commercial but cannot get it to work. Someone please help me with instructions. Thanks ,Lee
Confirmed, reliable sources have told me that the 10 dollar winnings that Jack won from the race wasn't enough to take his girl out to the movies(including popcorn and soda) so he dismantled the Hummer and made a lemonade stand out of it. The total profit to date is still pending on Jack's e-mail reply to my source. I'll keep you all posted as the details come available to me.

I hate the commercial. I would like to shoot an RPG at the stupid little kid before he crosses the line!! THAT MUSIC MAKES ME SO ANGRY!!!
-------------------------
They tried and they tried, but they couldn't keep Jack from being happy.
FYI -- The Hummer really has no advantage in a downhill gravity-powered "soap-box" race. The key factor is we weight.
Note that the kid is sitting two feet higher off the ground in the "soap box" Hummer, which illustrates the critical issue: The Hummer's higher center of gravity is likely to be quite dangerous and lead to a roll over.
After all, race cars are low to the ground for a reason.
Another music question: The commercial with driving near the ocean, and over a bridge, and at the very end of the commercial there is a childs voice dubbed in. I'd love to know who this is.
Well, I recognized the (not so well known) music from an older Hummer commercial where it's a yellow Hummer running across a desert scene. It's "Very Sunny" by Casino vs. Japan.
I've had the CD for years now (it's called "Go Hawaii") and it's by a guy from Milwaukee.
Happy Jack wasn't old, but he was a man.
He lived in the sand at the Isle of Man.
The kids would all sing. He would take the wrong key
So they rode on his head in their furry donkey.
The kids couldn't hurt Jack.
They tried and tried and tried.
They dropped things on his back
And lied and lied and lied and lied and lied,
But they couldn't stop Jack or the water's lapping
And they couldn't prevent Jack from being happy
But they couldn't stop Jack or the water's lapping
And they couldn't prevent Jack from being happy.
The kids couldn't hurt Jack.
They tried and tried and tried.
They dropped things on his back
And lied and lied and lied and lied and lied,
But they couldn't stop Jack or the water's lapping
And they couldn't prevent Jack from being happy.
The "Happy Jack" commercial is the best commercial produced in years. And I should know as I have over 15 years of experience in advertising. The long version is much better, unfortunately I've only seen it once. As another posted earlier, I would love to have a copy of the spot. BTW: Better than any Super Bowl ad in atleast 10 years!!!!
Who directed the new HUMMER2 commercial with the song "Happy Jack" (the kid building a soapbox version of the hummer)? Seems like a Wes Anderson project.

Krizzae | June 12, 2004 09:02 PM
the techno song is Emerge by fischerspooner. They play the shortened remixed version of it called snow. You will probably find it as sleigh on some sites.
Neil | June 9, 2004 09:03 AM
Jon | May 30, 2004 01:17 AM
go to hummer.com, then enter 'hummer world' which you will find on the top left corner of the page...choose tv commercials...you can view each commercial and see the music info
Elizabeth | May 21, 2004 09:03 PM
Fuck every body, one guy says something and nobody answers, seems as if you all want to say something to be heard. Zero asked what is the techno song of the last comercial. That is also my question, does any body know what is the name of this song? Not the happy Jack crap.... the techno song!!!

Driving a Hummer is unpatriotic and irresponsible. If they ban cigarette advertising, they should ban this garbage as well.
The Lorax | May 21, 2004 05:29 PM
You people are morons. There is nothing wrong with those H2 commercials. Don't hate because you can't afford one. Who said something about rolling over? Please, you are an idiot who clearly didn't do his homework before making that jack-ass comment. Hummers are great vehicles and fuck you if you don't think so. Morons.
massedgadgets007 | May 17, 2004 09:28 PM
Great site guys... Keep up the good work :)
Mitch Bruke | May 12, 2004 08:35 AM

I can't get HER out of my head!

I love that commercial. The song is playing in my head all day and night.
Sandy | November 21, 2003 10:20 PM
Confirmed, reliable sources have told me that the 10 dollar winnings that Jack won from the race wasn't enough to take his girl out to the movies(including popcorn and soda) so he dismantled the Hummer and made a lemonade stand out of it. The total profit to date is still pending on Jack's e-mail reply to my source. I'll keep you all posted as the details come available to me.

Wattage | October 26, 2003 09:22 PM
This commercial should sell a million Hummers I think it is great, one of the best I have ever heard or seen
phillip hinnant | October 23, 2003 03:48 PM
Well, I recognized the (not so well known) music from an older Hummer commercial where it's a yellow Hummer running across a desert scene. It's "Very Sunny" by Casino vs. Japan.
I've had the CD for years now (it's called "Go Hawaii") and it's by a guy from Milwaukee.
Todd | October 22, 2003 03:29 PM
That is the best commercial in the world.....and the kid is great..I want the music...Happy Jack by the who right..some one get that Kid more work...

HAPPY JACK - The WHO
Happy Jack wasn't old, but he was a man.

By the way, noncoformism is now so popular, that they are the conformists and the rest of us conformists have now become the nonconformists.

Anderson | October 18, 2003 09:58 AM
This is one great commercial! It appeals to the
nonconformist (do you all feel you have some
nonconformist in you? I sure do...)
They were playing the commercial during the first
half of nationally-televised NFL football games;
you might look for it in baseball playoffs too.
Ted | October 14, 2003 03:59 PM
The "Happy Jack" commercial is the best commercial produced in years. And I should know as I have over 15 years of experience in advertising. The long version is much better, unfortunately I've only seen it once. As another posted earlier, I would love to have a copy of the spot. BTW: Better than any Super Bowl ad in atleast 10 years!!!!
David | October 14, 2003 12:44 PM
