Think EV is Home! :: home :: Save Th!nk

Well we did it. We bought a Think. Not a city, but the Neighbor that you see above. Here are the reasons. First, it was cheap. The price was $7800 after all taxes and fees. Then, Ford took $3000 off the price because I owned a gas car. AND, the IRS is going to give us $780 (10%) back on our taxes. Total cost to us = $4020. Second, it's electric. No gas to fill, no oil to change, it's great! Third, it does what we need. It'll get Ginger to school and work (when she finds a job) without any problems. Plus we can use it on grocery runs and I can use to drive it to work while she learns to drive it. Sure, it'll take me about 10 minutes longer to get to work, but whatever...I won't be paying for gas! Yay! We're going to have to get a stereo or something for it though...it doesn't come with one. But at least we got a trunk! Photos will follow tomorrow when we go to pick it up.
On Saturday, we spent the afternoon at the Moon Festival in Cupertino's Memorial Park. The festival was interesting with the cultural performances the highlight for me. There weren't as many people as I thought would be there, but still, it was pretty packed. Afterwards, we spent a small fortune at Whole Foods and got some great fruit and cheese. Yum yum. We're going to raid 99 Ranch tomorrow and get discount moon cakes since the festival is over. Maybe we'll cruise over in our Think Neighbor! Yay!
