I really wanted to get one of these things. They're neat-looking two-seater electric cars. Ford was on the cusp of a breakthrough and didn't follow through. What a bunch of wusses. This would have been the first 2-seater, viable electric car on the market. Well, we can help save the future of Th!nk. All you need to do is click on the photo above and write a short note to the Norwegian government. If they get enough letters, then they'll step in and save the company and hopefully we'll all have more viable electric cars to choose from! At this point though, Ginger and I are looking into the Sparrow. We saw one today at Whole Foods and she totally loved it. I'm cool with it except for the one-seater-ness and the cost. It's not a bad alternative to the Th!nk City...much better than those so called NEV that only go 25MPH and go about 25 miles round trip. Hopefully, we'll be able to buy a Sparrow before the end of the year. Did you know you get a tax credit? Yup, the Feds give you a 10% tax credit (not a deduction, but an actual credit)! The state of CA will give you a $3000/year taxable bonus (so you get about 2000) just for buying a qualitfying car. The Th!nk qualifies, but the Sparrow doesn't. But getting $1500 back from the Feds ain't bad right?
