Instead of launching a super-expensive satellite everytime we need some more communication bandwidth, how about send out a relatively cheap, unmanned solar-powered plane instead? That's what they're thinking about doing. Scientist have been testing a plane that runs on solar power for up to 6-months at a time. Now we just have to figure out how to keep terrorist from shooting them out of the sky...
