Is Microsoft the devil? Nah I don't think so. I mean they make pretty good software that is not that hard to use (try giving Linux to your mom and you'll see what I mean), they advance the state of technology every now and then, and hey, they pay me a decent chunk of change to figure stuff out. Here's an interesting site that defends Microsoft, capitalism, and one's rights to flaunt some chedda. If you believe it is ok for a company that makes a better product to get the most market share, then you need to check out this article. I mean, Netscape-booh-hooh. Their browser SUCKS! Even the opensource Mozilla is way way way way better than Netscape. I use Mozilla most of the time now since it is such a nice piece of code.
The whole AOL ship is sinking. RealPlayer used to be ok albeit annoying since they would ask you so many questions and install tons of sponsorware. Now it's worse...things popup every day on your computer trying to get you to upgrade to RealPlayer Pro which is, of course, no use to anyone. Not to mention the crapfest that is AOL itself. I believe in fair play and all of that jazz, but when you make shit like Netscape, RealPlayer, and AOL, you should expect to get the beejeezus kicked out of you and go out of business. And of course, when they do finally go out of business in 3 years, you will see a lawsuit against Microsoft because "Microsoft made better stuff." Go cry in a corner and stop wasting people's time and money with pointless lawsuits against companies that know how to make real software.
Ok, ok...I'll calm down now...I'm ok...I'm ok.

MS management just told their salespeople to do anything to combat Linux, including giving Windows away. MS lack of security for their software costs users $billions every year. MS uses their $42 billion war chest to buy out competitors. Etc.
